I led global teams as both an entrepreneur and as a management consultant in the design and launch of innovative cloud-based digital products, services, and new businesses between 2000 and 2014. I was based in Madrid, London, Paris, and the US.
Over the last 15 years I have collaborated with organizations to define novel innovation strategies and business models, develop bleeding-edge cloud-powered platforms, and launch breakthrough digital products and services. I founded and developed Internet startups, partnered with global technology leaders, and consulted for Fortune 500 / CAC 40 organizations across North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
Employing «design thinking» to reframe complex business problems, my focus has been on identifying fundamental organizational challenges and building team commitment around digital capabilities to transform these challenges into business successes. I commit myself to taking teams and organizations to heights they have not previously thought they could reach. My most significant rewards come from seeing those I work with grow in their skills, motivation, confidence and success.
Always committed to global projects 24/7, and having had a career of an unending series of such challenging projects, in the next phase of my career I am reflecting on the larger issues stemming from the management of technological innovation. As a former serial tech entrepreneur for almost 15 years, I appreciate the challenges and uncertainties involved in partnerships between established firms and entrepreneurial ventures. This is the area of research I am currently pursuing at the Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM) in the Netherlands. If our research can shed light on how the relevant stakeholders can obtain results from these exchanges, we will be providing practitioners with actionable insight.
